Oliver Irschitz - the person

Backing up Peyote Cross Design Concepts is the architect, Oliver Irschitz. For years he has committed himself to developing innovative presentation solutions that hold the human element as a prime consideration. What results are unerringly holistic solutions for each particular situation. Products evolve from interdisciplinary projects, which pool the resources of artists, psychologists, communication specialists, technicians and computer scientists.

Peyote creations are already receiving international notice. In 2001, the iTube was awarded the Austrian National Prize for Design. When the iTube, iPoint and iDesk appeared at the Kapsch AG stand at the CeBIT that same year, professional audiences from around the world started to take notice of Peyote.

Invitations from institutes such as the Watson Research Lab of IBM in New York and the MIT Media Lab in Cambridge followed suit. Peyote projects are on display at the Siggraph 03 in San Diego and the Future Design Days in Stockholm. Companies from Germany, the US, China and elsewhere are showing interest in the products. Peyote products are an integral part of the international trade fair displays of Kodak, IBM, Skoda, Porsche and even the Lower House of the German Parliament.
